Hemp is our first choice, for all the right reasons.

We’ve discovered sugar in hemp stalks and stems,

unlocking a value overlooked for centuries.

Nutritional.

The nutritional content of hemp has a number of potential health benefits. Hemp contains all 10 essential amino acids, making it a great protein source. It’s 100% vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and is high in healthy Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. We’ll source the best available hemp biomass under strict pre-established criteria to unlock a value overlooked for centuries, recovering food-grade sugar from hemp stalks and stems.

Sustainable.

Production of hemp is increasing worldwide. A renewable wonder crop, hemp grows in a variety of climates and soil types, thriving on less water, taking up less space and flourishing without the use of pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.

Versatile.

A member of the Cannabis Sativa plant species, hemp is one of the oldest domesticated crops known to humanity. Much of the hemp plant is used in textiles, building materials, biofuel and plastics. However, massive amounts of plant waste materials increasingly exhaust global landfills.

Our first sustainable, upcycled, plant-based alternative to traditional and artificial sugars is worth more because it is more.

  • Derived from stalks and stems, the sugar contains two ingredients, water and hemp (which contains carbohydrates, proteins and polyphenols)

  • Contains glucose, xylose, and trace amounts of other sugars and minerals

  • Partially comprised of xylose and beta glucose - indigestible carbs reducing blood sugar levels and carbohydrate storage compared to traditional sugars

  • Provides naturally- occurring antioxidants and minerals shown to support the immune system

  • Cannabinoids are washed away, leaving a sugar safe for all consumers.

  • Diluted sugar syrup is a single source fermentable adjunct - no other sugar sources needed.
