Jennifer Dianne Thomas is a corporate transactional specialist with 7+ years of experience advising emerging growth and start-up companies in commercial transactions, corporate governance, corporate Intellectual Property matters and regulatory compliance. She has particular expertise in international/emerging markets, M&A, and complex commercial contracts.
Ms. Thomas has been a senior associate at two US top 25 law firms and was the youngest associate to be inducted into the M&A and Banking & Finance practice groups. Ms. Thomas served as outside in-house counsel for 3+ companies and counsel business teams on legal matters from start-up to IPO stage. She has represented start-up companies, emerging growth companies, and established brands within the CPG (consumer products goods) industry - including but not limited to Spanx,
Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, Krispy Kreme, Sysco, and Pepsi.
Ms. Thomas received her bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and graduated from Howard University School of Law where she was the Howard Law Journal Managing Editor.
Ms. Thomas is a founding member of the Emerging Companies Committee of the New York
State Bar Association.
Ms. Thomas has researched and drafted over 50 articles regarding regulatory industry rules
