Elad Barak is the director of Business Development and Fundraising of Province Brands. Before joining Province Brands, Mr. Barak served as VP of Business Development at eCAMION, a Canadian leading Lithium-Ion energy storage company. Under Mr. Barak’s leadership, eCAMION secured several contracts with the Canadian government and North American utilities, leading the company to substantial growth. He procured a $17M contract to electrify 3,000 km (~2,000 miles) of the Trans-Canada Highway, making it one of the longest highways accessible to electric vehicles with Level 3 superchargers.
Prior to his work with eCAMION, Mr. Barak was a product manager at Roboteam, a world-leading robot developer. At Roboteam he managed the Micro Tactical Ground Robot (MTGR) and successfully completed the development, manufacturing, and delivery of the MTGRs to the US military.
Mr. Barak has also worked at the Israeli Aerospace Industry (IAI) space division at the Ground Control Station for the AMOS satellite fleet. He became part of the system engineering team, developing AMOS 6 and was responsible for the development of the communications between the satellite and the ground control station. In addition, he worked at the Civil Aircraft Division where he was responsible for managing key suppliers to the G150 and G280 business jets.
Mr. Barak served as a Diplomatic Attaché at the Israeli Embassies in Kiev, Ukraine, and Mexico City, Mexico. Prior joining the diplomatic delegation Mr. Barak served as a Lieutenant in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) as an S3.
Mr. Barak holds two masters’ degrees. He has an MBA from Canada’s leading business school, Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He also has two science degrees from H.I.T. Israel, a B.Sc. in Management of Technology, graduating cum-laude, specializing in Project Management and M.Sc. in Management of Technology specializing in System Engineering.
