Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing top talent for all five of Province Brand’s teams including management, R&D in a number of scientific fields, marketing, financial services and manufacturing shop floor roles. We’re looking for someone with a specialty in financial services or marketing, but able to quickly learn new specialties when called for. The ideal candidate for this role will be incredibly polished and capable of managing relationships with successful candidates at the very top of their fields – Presidents, Chief Marketing Officers, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Posting open positions

  • Leveraging online recruiting resources, employee referrals, and networking to identify and recruit the very best candidates

  • Proactively building pipelines of quality top talent for critical roles

  • Helping to manage relationships with outside recruitment firms

  • Conducting background and reference checks

  • Reviewing resumes

  • Conducting Screening Interviews

  • Keeping candidate tracking databases up-to-date

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience recruiting

  • Experience recruiting in the fields of financial services and/or marketing is a huge plus

  • Must be an exceptional communicator and networker

  • Creative, with a can-do-never-give-up attitude – we’re looking for unicorns and it takes imagination and grit

  • Must be a phenomenal writer capable of drafting succinct but informational emails, etc.

  • Must have a good gut sense of what differentiates an exceptional candidate from a “fine” candidate

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Must be extraordinarily attentive to detail

  • Experience in a startup environment is helpful

  • Bachelor's degree, College Diploma or post-secondary education in a relevant field required (Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.)
