Our President will be tasked with providing strong leadership for the company by working with the board and other executives to establish short and long-term goals, plans and strategies. You will assist fundraising and business development efforts and act as a public face of the company. You will help manage budgets and make sure resources are allocated properly. You will make sure departments meet their individual goals and are responsible for overall accountability to shareholders and the general public.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Identifying target investors and helping to expand our investor network
Managing relationships with investors and potential investors
Following up with prospective investors by phone, text and email
Doing interviews with the press about Province Brands
Helping oversee team leaders and ensure they’re meeting their goals
Creating an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale
Must have personally raised $5 million + from investors and investment banks – if you don’t enjoy the challenge of fundraising, this job is not for you
An understanding of startups and experience growing companies
Experience communicating with top management, boards and shareholders
Comfortable communicating with the press and representing Province Brands at conferences and events
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to inspire high-performance and create a positive company culture
Strong organization and project management skills
Past experience with luxury brands is a huge plus
Past experience as CEO or COO of a tech startup or other innovative startup is helpful
Experience working for private equity firms is a plus
Past experience in an entrepreneurial role is a plus
