Brand Manager

Our Brand Manager is a key player on our Marketing Team. The role focuses on creating and executing scalable Canadian and international marketing initiatives to drive the P&L brand building of the Province Brand portfolio according to given priorities. Successfully creating International PR and Consumer Communications initiatives will also entail leading the execution of projects across regions. Success will be measured in positive development of value, volume and brand equity and awareness of each brand. This is an especially exciting time to join the Province Team as we’re quickly approaching the launch of our first products and the Brand Manager has an opportunity to put their fingerprint on the Brand portfolio moving forward. We’re looking for creative, outside-the-box thinkers, but also people able to keep a project on-schedule and on-budget.

Responsibilities include:

  • Brand planning and executing on yearly brand plan

  • Creating, planning, leading and executing Canadian and international PR, Consumer Communications and Event Brand Projects

  • A&P Budgeting

  • Leading media initiatives

  • Cooperating with all internal departments as well as agencies and subsidiary teams to achieve brand strategy buy-in, collect knowledge, and make sure that brand communications conform to overall brand vision

  • Working with the Province Management Team to present initiative plans, collect and implement input, and coordinate decision-making and sign-off

  • Monitoring and reporting initiative results to involved parties

  • Making sure marketing projects stay on-schedule and within budget

  • Ensuring brand compliance to government and industry regulations

  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Head of Marketing

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of Brand Management experience with luxury FMCG, beverages and/or alcohol

  • Good knowledge of the beer or beverage industry

  • High level strategic and tactical marketing know-how

  • Must understand that execution is the Moment of Truth in bringing Brand Communications into the market – it doesn’t matter how good the idea was if it isn’t executed flawlessly

  • Must have a strong understanding of the Canadian retail landscape, customers, competitor activities, and markets

  • Must be up-to-date with current trends

  • Phenomenal writer – copy writing chops are a huge plus

  • Leadership capability – able to inspire teams with big vision rather than authority

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a related Field 

  • Drivers license
