Productivity Team Update June 22, 2018

THIS WEEK'S UPDATE

  • Nova Scotia Business who manages the Payroll Rebate Program followed up with some additional questions, and we worked to turn the answersf around in a day.
  • Our new intern, Na’im Jones, started and researched two additional Nova Scotia government funding opportunities that we will look to apply to, and we completed building out all our current efforts in this area on Smartsheet.
  • We’re exploring getting additional help on applying for government funding. We reached out to several grant writers and have one additional call scheduled for next week.
  • The investor meeting planned for this week had to be pushed, but we helped coordinate getting everything in place so we can easily pull the trigger once the meeting is rescheduled.

LOOKING FORWARD

  • We’ll begin circulating a new job description for the Business Development and Fundraising Team. Our amazing interns will be leaving at the end of the summer, and we want to have a new member of the team trained and in place before their departure.
  • We’ll begin coordinating with the Business Development and Fundraising Team to gather some budget numbers needed for upcoming government funding applications.
